(Senior-) Backend Engineer (m/f/x)

Building Europe’s leading booking SaaS and marketplace for local workshops - an underserved billion € market. Founded in 2021 and currently a team of 25 people, we are looking to expand our team with exceptional individuals in our office in Cologne.

• Work on our backend that power both our client-facing platform and on our partner-facing booking software
• Take ownership of the architecture, design, development, deployment and operations of the systems you will develop, using DevOps practices, pair programming and other cutting-edge methodologies
• Be an active, solution-oriented member of autonomous, cross-functional agile teams collaborating with Product Owners, Front-end Engineers, Designers, and Business Intelligence teams

Qualifications

• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel
• Experience working with Docker and container orchestration technologies
• As well as experience in CI/CD methods and practices
• Experienced in end-to-end development processes, including unit, integration & functional testing, distributed architecture, application tuning/profiling, and continuous integration
• Experience working with relational and document databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Experience with AWS and Serverless is a big plus
• You thrive in the opportunity to collaborate and mentor team members, while also sharing practical knowledge and trends
