React Tech Lead (f/m/d) - Remote

Flooz is a culture-first web3 wallet & infrastructure company, and our vision is to provide equal financial opportunities to everyone. Gen-Z “curious” investors use Flooz to discover opportunities, perform due diligence, trade any digital asset, and track their portfolios with real-time data and alerts.

We are looking for an experienced and driven Tech Lead to join us full-time and lead our high-performing squad in building our trading platform.

Flooz is a fully remote company with 20+ employees located in 14 countries (CET +/- 3hrs). We believe in international, cross-functional team setups and promote regular face-to-face meetings, e.g. summer offsites or in-person product sprints.

• You lead an engineering team consisting of 2-3 senior react engineers that are building one of your core products, our trading platform
• You are responsible for the squad's technical delivery and you will ensure efficient and effective implementation as well as a high performing standard
• You are guiding your team members by having regular 1:1s, empower them to deliver on the technical vision and fostering their career development
• You are the counterpart of the squad's product owner and make sure the technical strategy is aligned with the product roadmap and priorities
• You will be the subject-matter expert for engineering in your squad and assist the team with architectural decisions
• You ensure that the development process is smooth and support the squad in constantly improving
• You are responsible for making sure the squad has enough technical resources (staffing & recruitment), aligned with the budget
• You shape and nurture a collaborative, inclusive, and alive remote engineering culture in line with our guiding principles

• You have relevant experience as a software engineer and are familiar with our tech stack
• You are experienced in technical project management, team leadership and have a good understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies
• You have passion and experience in building, launching, and scaling great products and teams
• You have the ability to understand and translate business and user requirements across teams and our leadership team
• You have extensive knowledge of software engineering: software engineering practices, modern design, and architecture concepts
• You know how to apply efficiency and automation to improve development processes
• You have the ability to prioritize engineering initiatives and drive the delivery of the squad
• You have exceptional and effective communication skills in English
