Lead Backend Developer (PHP) at Start-Up

Flexxter is a young award-winning start-up based in Hanover that is revolutionizing collaboration in construction projects.
Our office is located in the VentureVilla, the Start-Up Accelerator in Hannover directly opposite the Eilenriede!
We develop and operate the project management software "flexxter" that construction companies can use to plan and collaborate on projects together. Nearly every company in the construction sector is working jointly with other companies on their projects. But the main challenge within this projects is the communication between all the projects' participants. That's why again and again information get lost, will not be noticed or misunderstood. And despite that fact no software exists that can handle the entire collaboration process from beginning to end in all its details. That was until now - Because we at flexxter make it possible to plan your own projects and communicate with all the projects' participants.
Our solution has been anounced as one of the TOP 10 Smart Construction Start-ups in 2020 and we are constantly expanding our business.

We are a highly skilled and experienced team of former consultants, developers and project managers which helps us develop great products! Every one of us is taking responsibility for their projects and so will you! Every opinion is heard and part of our decision making process.

To further expand our software, we are looking for a working student for frontend development (Javascript, HTML, CSS / SCSS) in 2021.
Your tasks include:

• You will become the lead backend developer and a core part of our development team
• You will develop our software based on the requirements described
• You will discuss possible implementations with our development team
• You document your code and monitor the quality during the rollout

If you have already worked with PHP and gained experience in various projects, then we would like to get to know you.
Also important are:

• EU citizenship or working permit for Germany
• several years of experience in PHP development
• Open and communicative mindset
• initiative
• Interest in new technologies and willingness to learn
• Languages: English
• If you speak German that's also a plus for us
• Willing to move to Hannover, Germany

We offer a job in our beautiful office in Hanover with a view of the Eilenriede city forest. We are happy to provide you with free drinks (soft drinks, coffee and a beer in the evening) as well as the technical equipment needed for your job.

And if you are not living in Hanover you are free to work remotely.
