Customer Success for EnergyTech Startup (x/f/m)

Exnaton is a spinoff company of ETH Zurich which offers software for renewable energy to energy companies. Our software enables energy providers to enable consumers to share renewable energy. Users of our software can track their energy consumption and buy renewable energy from their neighbors, which makes investing in the energy transition simple and fun! Our software processes smart meter data and computes smart real-time prices for locally produced energy which make renewable energy financially more attractive. End-users receive an app that maps the sources of their energy, making their electricity consumption more understandable. Our team is growing fast and consists of a diverse mix of engineers and business developers who are all motivated to use technology to create a sustainable impact in our society. Energy sharing solutions are the next big thing in Europe’s energy market as the European Union is pushing hard for individual climate action. And we are aiming to become Europe’s leading software provider for energy sharing. On that mission, we are looking for motivated and passionate people to join us.

At Exnaton you will play a key role in bringing a product to the market that makes renewable energy more attractive. We are building a SaaS platform which enables utility companies to offer dynamic tariffs, to bill decentralized energy resources and to offer energy sharing to their customers. Among others, your main responsibilities in this role are the following:

• Manage and deliver SaaS-projects in accordance with pre-agreed timeline and scope
• Work with our customers to set up our solution in their organization (current focus: utility companies in the DACH region)
• Communicate clearly with the project team and client stakeholders the project expectations and progress on a regular basis
• Planning and execution of our project roadmap to meet project milestones together with the customer
• Collaborate closely with the other project, product and sales representatives in our team
• Refining our product vision, and deriving and prioritizing product requirements for different customer groups
• Supporting business development with industry partners (e.g. SAP, bpc, Theben), customer workshops, and integration projects

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales or related areas
• You are an excellent communicator and understand different customer and stakeholder personas
• You are a strong relationship builder with excellent problem solving skills
• You have proven experience as project manager, ideally in delivery of SaaS projects
• You have the ability to prioritize, complete tasks, and meet deadlines
• Interest in ICT and sustainability, basic understanding of renewable energy and energy systems and the motivation to dive deep into the complexity of the energy market
• Pragmatic mindset, make quick decisions, and clearly prioritize on what moves the needle
• You are a team player and thrive in a dynamic startup environment
• You have the willingness to travel to customers in the DACH region if required
• Fluent in English and German (these are hard requirements, other languages are a big plus, as well)
