The Chief of Staff acts as a multiplier, supporter and sparring partner of our CEO. You provide day-to-day support, enable cross-departmental alignment, manage investor relations, facilitate strategy execution, run special CEO projects, organise management meetings, moderate all-hands meetings and enable data-driven strategy decisions. This is a great opportunity for high potentials who want to get an insight into the management of a start-up.

Tasks

  • Providing daily support of the CEO in ad-hoc tasks such as preparing meetings, writing speeches, conducting analyses and providing your view on things
  • Enabling cross-departmental alignment through spotting gaps between teams and projects and helping team heads and project managers to resolve these - you act as “glue”
  • Managing investor relations through preparing the board meeting, investor pitch decks and related communication
  • Facilitating strategy execution of the whole company by running and continuously overworking our OKR cadence
  • Independently running special CEO projects with any possible scope or topic
  • Organise, participate in and follow-up on management meetings, thereby increasing the efficiency of the whole management team
  • Prepare and moderate all-hands meetings, such as the team weekly, monthly town hall or kickoffs
  • Enable data-driven strategy decisions of the management by providing ad-hoc analyses together with BI

Requirements

  • 2-5 years experience in a high-impact role in consulting, start-up, VC, investment banking, corporate strategy, or similar dynamic environment
  • Strong people skills - you can influence without authority
  • Structured and organised working manner
  • Independent working style with little need for supervision
  • High personal ambition level with “getting things done” attitude
  • Flexible/curious mind with love for change - you challenge the status quo
  • Low ego / non-hierarchical
  • High tolerance for ambiguity
  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1-level); German a plus but not required
  • Advanced PPT/GSlides skills; experience with presentations to senior stakeholders a strong plus
  • Good Excel/GSheet skills; experience preparing data-driven decisions a plus
  • Good project management skills; experience owning/running own projects a plus
  • Graduate from a top-tier university in business or related field
