We seek an experienced developer with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for high-quality software. You will be the first full-time engineering team member and will work closely with the founders.

Tasks

As full-stack developer, you will work with our CTO to build the world's best food app. As a key player in our tech team, you will be responsible for our app's backend, solving technically challenging and socially relevant problems. You will be an integral part of planning, designing, and implementing new features while maintaining and improving a stable and reliable code architecture.

Requirements

We’d love to hear from you if:

You have experience in developing and maintaining production-grade Elixir/Phoenix applications
You can work collaboratively on a large codebase thanks to strong communication skills and a good knowledge of Git
You are fluent in either English or German
You like to work "full-stack" with various programming languages and technologies tailored to the problem at hand.
You are not afraid of trying out and learning new technologies

Ideally, you also have…

designed and built HTTP-based APIs, ideally for mobile clients
worked with relational databases, e.g. MySQL or PostgreSQL
experience in building cloud-native software, e.g. for running on Kubernetes or a service like AWS Fargate
experience with applying machine learning solutions to real-world problems
