Electronics Engineer for Humanoid Robotics

Employee
Electrical Engineering

Join the build. Not the buzz.

We don’t build apps — we build real hardware. Our team designs and develops humanoid robotsand the intelligent systems behind them — tangible technology that pushes boundaries and redefines what’s possible.

This is where deep tech meets execution. Engineers, designers, and operators work side by side to bring complex ideas into the physical world — fast, focused, and with intent.

If you want to take ownership, build what others only talk about, and be part of a team that turns prototypes into reality — let’s build it.

Location: Berlin · Start: Asap · Working model: On-site · Scope: Full-time

Tasks

  • Hardware Development: Design and optimise hardware solutions for our robotic systems – from first prototype to field-ready assembly.
  • Circuit Design: Develop circuit concepts and PCB layouts for analogue and digital electronics, ensuring performance, reliability and clean integration.
  • Component Selection: Identify, evaluate and integrate the right electronic components for our systems – balancing innovation, cost and manufacturability.
  • Testing & Validation: Plan and conduct hardware tests to ensure safety, signal integrity and robustness under real-world conditions.
  • Prototype to Production: Support the transfer of prototypes into scalable, production-ready designs in close cooperation with manufacturing partners.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Work hand in hand with teams in mechanics, embedded systems and software to ensure smooth integration across all system layers.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or similar
  • Experience with PCB design tools (e.g. Altium, KiCad or similar) and solid understanding of mixed-signal circuits
  • Strong understanding of sensors, actuators, power electronics and signal conditioning
  • Familiarity with EMC, grounding and safety standards in hardware design
  • Curiosity for robotics and complex electromechanical systems
  • Hands-on mindset, precision, and excitement for fast prototyping and iteration
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
  • Based in Berlin or ready to relocate — our robots don’t work remotely, and neither do we when we build them

Benefits

  • Room to Fail & Grow: We learn quickly, take responsibility and grow through real projects. We support your development with an additional learning day and an individual training budget.
  • Room to Recharge & Massages: A relaxation area for rest, meditation or prayer, as well as regular office massages and mental health workshops for your well-being.
  • Office Gym & Active Mind: Our small fitness area and ping-pong zone bring movement into everyday working life and promote focus, energy and creativity.
  • Give Back to the Community: An additional paid day for social or environmental engagement – whether mentoring, volunteering or educational projects.
  • Flexible Benefits Programme: Choose what suits your life: home interior, mobility, health, food or music subscriptions.
  • Central Office & Deep-Tech Playground: In the heart of Berlin, you'll find modern labs, creative spaces, focus zones and a fully equipped kitchen with snacks, drinks and good coffee.

Innovation comes from diversity: we are looking for real go-getters – regardless of their origin, background or CV. If you are inspired by our mission, apply now. Even if you don't meet all the requirements: skills can be learned – passion cannot.

Sound like you? Let's build the future.
