Having closed our first funding round, we're looking for ambitious personalities who are eager to roll up their sleeves and have an impact. You will become an integral part of our hands-on & fun team (17 people) and have a big impact on the future development of our company. We are fast-growing 🚀 with 140+ active customers in more than 16+ countries across a multitude of industries including some big names like eBay, Lufthansa and DHL. And we're just warming up.

As our Business Development Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Identifying and creating new opportunities for our sales team through a combination of smart lead finding, social selling, email campaigns, cold calling, and clever outbound sales techniques
  • Becoming an expert about the company, industry, product, and features to effectively present Caplena's value proposition to potential customers
  • Working closely with Account Executives to ensure a healthy sales pipeline
  • Collaborating with the Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to maximize our growth trajectory
  • Maintaining and improving a scalable outbound prospecting system
  • Tracking and managing prospects, as well as qualifying leads by using a modern sales tech stack
  • Participating in team meetings, networking, and trade shows to grow the business


  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven work experience in business development or sales
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, cold calling is a plus
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience in SaaS is a plus
  • Experience with CRM software and knowledge of basic business research tools such as Linked in Sales Navigator is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Verbal and written proficiency in English and German
  • Hands-on and can-do attitude
  • Upbeat team player with strong work ethic and ambitions
