Your role

Who we're looking for:

We are looking for a Sales Operation Associate who will play a key role in supporting our sales force, managing commercial operational processes, and contributing to our marketing efforts. You will collaborate with various teams to create sales materials, manage top-of-funnel customers, strategize sales outreach, and optimize our operational workflows. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, passionate about innovation management, and eager to engage with the commercial side of an innovative business and its products. You will support various aspects of the business, including marketing, sales, and operations, contributing to our overall success with your diverse skills.

What you can expect to do:

  • Facilitate the end to end sales process, supporting on scheduling, sample shipping, customer presentation, customer calls, etc.
  • Source and acquire key customers for our first product in the cosmetics industry
  • Develop and implement strategies for sales outreach
  • Maintain CRM (Hubspot) and analyze data to continuously optimize the sales process
  • Design, automate, and optimize commercial operational processes
  • Assist with company and product marketing initiatives
  • Organize and manage company presence to B2B events

Your profile

You’ll be a great candidate if you:

  • Undergraduate degree, MA or MSc in Business Administration and/or Innovation Management
  • Working experience in a high-performing entrepreneurial environment, at a leading technology company or in management consultancy
  • Excellent English communication (verbal and written) and the interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize appropriately and effectively
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to step back and contextualize the problem and its root cause
  • Entrepreneurial drive, willingness to take responsibility, high ambition and the ability to achieve goals collaboratively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, dealing with uncertainty and building something from scratch
  • Proficient at PowerPoint, Canva, CRM tools (e.g. Hubspot) and other project management and automation tools
  • Passionate about Cambrium’s mission, sustainability and the field of synthetic biology
  • Employment or working placement references are a plus
