Backend Developer JavaScript Remote/Berlin
We are building a platform to create, offer and process complex financial products.
Tasks
Tasks vary from building simple CRUD controllers to coming up with ideas for complex asset selection and optimization problems. Quality on all layers is most important for us, so there will be a lot of refactoring & testing. In the end, it is a never-ending fight against complexity.
Our technology stack is the following:
- Typescript
- NestJS + REST
- PostgreSQL + Prisma ORM
- And lots of cool other stuff:
Auth0, Swagger, Github, Jest, Vite, pnpm, CI/CD, Azure
Requirements
The only requirement is having good software engineering skills. We don’t care about your education, where and how long you have worked before, gender or anything else, the only thing that matters is your ability to deliver high-quality code.
Preferably you have done something with JavaScript or TypeScript before.
If you’re still quite new to programming, extreme motivation and passion can compensate missing experience.
You don’t need to know anything about financial markets or products – but it would not be a disadvantage.
Benefits
Expect a salary in the range of EUR 40-50.000 for junior positions and EUR 55–75.000 for senior positions. We are willing to pay more for people with exceptional skills.
- You can work remotely and also travel while working. Our tech lead is currently in Indonesia for two months. Things like that are absolutely no problem, as long as you are able to deliver high quality code.
- A part time or a full time contract, depending on your preference
- An office in the middle of Mitte in Berlin
- Flexible working time, only a few meetings per week
