As one of the largest entrepreneurship networks globally, Bridge for Billions creates, designs, and manages entrepreneurship programs with foundations, corporations, and public entities that have benefited more than 3,400 entrepreneurs in more than 100 countries. Its objective is to facilitate access to entrepreneurial support for all types of entrepreneurs with a common purpose: to boost innovation that solves the problems that truly matter, generate economic growth, and new decent job opportunities.

Bridge for Billions, recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Ashoka, and Acumen, has worked with more than 100 organizations such as Coca-Cola, Accenture or BMW, and institutions such as the United Nations in the development of entrepreneurship programs that support diverse entrepreneurs in the creation of innovative solutions for today’s most pressing issues.

In 6 years, Bridge has grown to a team of 45 people from 13 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ in Antigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world.

Tasks

JOB MISSION

We are looking for a Content Creator & Copywriter Intern to join our Marketing and Communications Team. With your skillset, we will improve how we showcase our mission, the impact achieved through our entrepreneurship programs, and the stories of our entrepreneurs, mentors, and partner organizations with whom we promote a fair and inclusive entrepreneurship ecosystem.

ROLE & CONTRIBUTIONS

  • Create content and use our brand narrative to leverage our community stories and make Bridge for Billions one of the most representative advocates of the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
  • Create compelling content (newsletter, blogs, ads, websites) that increases our brand awareness and positions Bridge for Billion in the ecosystem.
  • Optimize our current content following our brand narratives to reflect our mission and vision of systemic change.
  • Collaborate with B2B Marketing team, designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
  • Understand what type of content, tone, and narrative resonates more with our target audience and pivot your strategy accordingly.
  • Propose original content to use across different platforms and channels (social media, emails, press releases, websites, presentations, etc.).
  • Stay up-to-date with digital content and sector trends.
  • When necessary, assist the marketing team with Social Media activities, such as community management, competitors content analysis

Requirements

SKILLS WE LOOK FOR IN THIS ROLE IN PARTICULAR:

Hard skills

  • Languages: native-like in English and Spanish (we will not make any exceptions here, please refrain from applying if that is not your case).
  • Excellent copywriting skills in English and Spanish.
  • Social Media proficiency and knowledge.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A course in copywriting.
  • You have a start-up mindset — highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. You’re not afraid to be responsible for the outcomes of your work and work independently when required.

Soft skills

  • Not afraid to take on new challenges. Motivated by uncertainty and trying new things.
  • Strong project management skills as you’ll be working with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail: you test things yourself before making them public; you dislike when your work has imperfections.

Process:

  1. You’ll start by answering a quick Typeform, so we know we’re aligned on the basics and logistics of the role.
  2. If we are aligned, we’ll invite you to a 1st 30-minute check-in just to explain a bit more about the process and get to know each other a little better.
  3. If there’s a match, we will send you a practical challenge.
  4. We’ll review your practical challenge, and if it meets the goals, we will invite you to a Technical Interview where we will go over the challenge and talk more about your hard skills.
  5. We will send you an offer.

NOTE: If you are currently studying a course/degree, we will coordinate with you and the university in order to sign the internship program. During the internship, we will cover the cost of a course if you are not studying.
