INTRO

Bridge for Billions, as one of the largest entrepreneurship networks in the world, creates, designs, and manages innovation programs with foundations, corporations, and public entities that have benefited more than 2900 entrepreneurs in more than 99 countries. Its objective is to facilitate access to entrepreneurial support for all types of entrepreneurs with a common purpose: to boost innovation that solves the problems that truly matter, generate economic growth, and new decent job opportunities. Bridge for Billions, recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Ashoka, and Acumen, has worked with more than 100 organizations such as Coca-Cola, Accenture or BMW, and institutions such as the United Nations in the development of entrepreneurship programs that support diverse entrepreneurs in the creation of innovative solutions for today’s most pressing issues.

In 6 years, Bridge has grown to a team of 29 people from 13 nationalities, with headquarters in Madrid, where most of our team is based; an emerging LatAm HQ in Antigua, Guatemala, with a few team members; and a few people based in different places around the world. We will likely end the year 2022 as a team of 40 people.

Tasks

JOB MISSION

We are looking for an accomplished Head of Business Development to lead the design, optimization, and scaling of the sales organization as we continue to expand our global market presence. You need to lead by example so closing deals and signing on new partners is part of the role, but you will also need to build and optimize the strategy with the Sales teams in existing & new markets by understanding what the market and Bridge for Billions need. A big part of the role is understanding and working with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure company alignment and instil best-in class tracking and reporting methodologies. You will be the owner of implementing and executing strategies that set our sales teams up for success.

The role requires exceptional project management, strategic decision-making, influencing and interpersonal skills as you will partner with business leaders, executives, and board members both internally and externally.

To be successful in this role, you will manage the details with a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understanding the market, identifying business opportunities, closing deals & signing on new partners yourself, assisting your team in alignment and achieving their goals in the most efficient way possible.
  • Proactively identify opportunities of improvement for the sales process and sales team members development, and work closely with the team to implement practices to achieve those improvements.
  • Define performance measures and reporting requirements to evaluate the effectiveness of the team and our initiatives to make data-driven decisions. This includes building tool kits, dashboards and reports that allow for effective monitoring and analysis of key sales and business performance indicators and trends (ICP definition and segmentation, Pricing, Conversion rates, CAC, LTV, etc.) to drive strategic and tactical decisions and forecasting.
  • Partner closely with the rest of the Sales team, Customer Success, and Marketing teams, serving as subject matter experts in revenue operations to monitor and report on the sales funnel to develop the strategy and implement tactics that impact all target regions.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Skills we look for in this role in particular:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Ops (ideally 2+ in leading positions) in startups with complex B2B selling environments
  • Proven sales track record of closing deals and effective account management.
  • Experience in consultative selling of services (not products).
  • Previous practical experience or knowledge of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.
  • Knowledge and experience working with CRMs, marketing automation, cadence tools, etc.
  • Capacity to develop, implement and monitor sales methodologies, processes and policies that create actionable deliverables that support revenue goals
  • Deep understanding of tools and techniques that maximize data quality and process consistency throughout the pipeline and forecasting process to ensure accurate forecasts
  • Has supported globally dispersed sales teams in developing the processes, reporting and strategy to penetrate and navigate large accounts

  • Has previously built comprehensive compensation plans
  • Definable experience in problem resolution, and communicating complex ideas in coherent terms to cross-function groups in a rapidly scaling environment who can build reporting and analytics to support data-driven sales decisions
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (we will not make any exceptions here, please refrain from applying if that is not your case).
  • Strong project management skills as you’ll be working with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

OFFER AND LOCATION

Transparent salaries and fair compensation structure, mid-range for the social sector:

  • Compensation of 34,000€ - 40,000€ per year, depending on profile.
  • $200 Referral Bonus. If you bring someone you know to the team you will get $100 bonus at hire + $100 additional after 6 month
