Product Developer / Owner for Inverter and Charing Technology

We are batterium based in Stuttgart/Germany. Under one roof, batterium unites diverse brands from the sectors of battery technology and self-sufficient power supply. Since 2011, more than 80 employees have been working every day to offer customers strong and innovative products at a fair price. With the trading platform "autobatterienbilliger", batterium operates one of the largest online stores in this segment.

• Overall responsibility for product portfolio of dedicated product groups
• Translate business strategy into product strategy; converting business needs into technical specifications of the products
• Manage the products during their entire product life: development & introduction, growth, maturity/stability and phase out
• Develop products specifications and requirements
• Drive the product launch project in order to meet/secure product development project milestones and deadlines
• Coordinate product development process with other org. units & process interfaces
• Development of new product functionalities in correlation with external suppliers
• Coordinate & Conduct Sample Test process and asses the outcome. Sample inspection and evaluation
• Define & conduct product quality assurance process
• Drive functionalities improvements of existing products in order to stay competitive on the market
• Participate in search and selection of adequate suppliers in correlation with the Purchasing

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or comparable studies
• Good knowledge of electrical components. Capable to understand inverter & charger technical fundaments
• Team spirit, motivation and enthusiasm for our products
• Good communication skills. Fluency in written and spoken English, German language skills desirable
• Willingness to travel
