About the Role

As our People and Culture Manager, you will be responsible for creating a passionate, committed and productive work environment. No matter the project, process, or initiative, your focus will be on elevating Avrios’ most valuable asset – our people. You will work closely with our Talent and Operations leaders to manage the full lifecycle of an employee from planning for their first day to the last and everything in between. You’ll play an important role in all matters of people while always acting as an ambassador of our culture and upholding the standards of what makes Avrios an amazing place to work.

Tasks

You Will

  • Be Avrios’ culture champion!
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure Avrios is an amazing place to work every day.
  • Manage our HR admin processes and systems: employee contracts, contract amendments, reference letters, headcount documents, etc.
  • Engage in planning for a variety of internal and external events to bring visibility and learning to our employees and candidates (Hackathons, Meetups, Offsites, etc)
  • Monitor employee engagement through our survey system: OfficeVibe
  • Guide the new hires through the onboarding experience ensuring a smooth introduction to the organization.
  • Manage our learning and development programs: Avrios University, Lunch and Learns, and other leadership development initiatives.
  • Manage the efficient operation of vendor services including office supplies, shipping/receiving, and basic IT needs.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • 1-2 years of experience working in HR, event management, coordination, or customer service
  • Outgoing and “roll up your sleeves” attitude to get things done quickly without sacrificing quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and perform best when you have a lot to work on
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Able to quickly implement feedback
  • Proven ability to juggle and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks
