About the role

We’re looking for a user acquisitions operations managers to join our growing user acquisition team in London.

User acquisition and in-app advertising in the alternative appstore space comes with its own set of unique opportunities and challenges. The evolving ecosystems are commercially and technologically fragmented, and open to innovation and fresh ideas in ways not possible when operating within the confines of Google Play or the iOS Appstore.

Flexion is on its way to become the leading player in the UA space for open market distribution.

Flexion is a flat organisation, driven by proactivity in action and thought. As a result, the role requires a fundamental ability to self-organise and self-prioritise activities. You’ll need to be able to identify and prioritise challenges, issues and impediments. You will be empowered to autonomously identify suitable solutions and strategies meeting objectives and overcoming challenges and taking ownership for their execution.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Ad network/traffic channel onboarding: identifying and testing settings and set-up steps in MMP(s) or network consoles required to be able to run campaigns through specific ad network / channel
  • Agency MMP setting onboarding and testing
  • Campaign set-up: set-up of campaigns in relevant 3rd party tools and interfaces (e.g. MMP and ad-network consoles)
  • Campaign pre-launch testing: end-to-end testing of campaign set-ups
  • Trouble shooting & support: resolving set-up issues before or during campaigns
  • Campaign in-live monitoring: checking live campaigns / campaign data to ensure the validity of end-to-end data flows and tracking functionality
  • Campaign optimisation support: if/when required - supporting Flexion's commercial team in modifying the parameters of live campaigns for the purposes of performance optimisation
  • Internal and external stakeholder support: managing and driving the resolution of support issues related to UA campaigns raise by internal or external customers or stakeholders
  • Core set-up documentation: documenting steps and information required to configure a campaign in a given supported ad-network / channel
  • Best practices ownership: defining, documenting and communicating best practices for UA set-up, configuration and operations
  • Training: training Flexion's wider support team on basic campaign set-up and trouble shooting best practices
  • 3rd party monitoring: tracking product and feature evolutions and changes with integrated or supported 3rd parties (ad networks, MMPs etc.) in order to identify coming breaking changes


About you

  • Strong knowledge of - and hands on experience with - the mobile UA and in-app advertising product and tech stacks.
  • Sound working knowledge of the mobile UA and in-app advertising 3rd party provider landscape
  • Several years' experience within the mobile UA or advertising fields
  • Strong team player
  • Creative and analytical thinker
  • Self-starting and proactive
  • Strong verbal and written communicator
