Tasks
As Associate Director, Human Resources & Facilities in a dynamic biotech environment, you will partner with scientific and operational leaders to foster a culture of innovation, agility, and collaboration. You will drive initiatives that shape the company culture, enhance employee development, and support organizational transformation to ensure long-term success.
Strategic HR Partnership
- Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategy with organizational goals
- Use HR analytics to support decisions and measure impact.
- Act as a trusted advisor on people-related matters, including performance, development, and engagement
Operational Excellence
- Design and implement HR processes that facilitate the overall operations of Alentis, including efficient collaboration with Finance, Legal and other stakeholders
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations and manage the HRIS
- Ensure all company policies and practices comply with relevant employment laws and biotech regulatory requirements, while being appropriate for a small, nimble organization
Talent & Leadership Development
- Develop and deliver leadership development activities tailored to business needs
- Develop and Implement succession planning and high-potential talent identification
- Support leaders to create impactful learning journeys
- Ensure alignment between change initiatives and desired cultural outcomes
Culture & Engagement
- Design and implement initiatives that foster an inclusive, high-performance culture
- Lead employee engagement surveys and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Embed values and behaviors that support scientific excellence, ethical conduct and cross-functional collaboration
Organizational Development
- Advice on organizational design to support agile, matrixed structures and global collaboration
- Facilitate team development across scientific and operational units Support transformation projects with a focus on people and culture.
Change-Management
- Lead communication and engagement strategies for cultural and organizational change
- Build change capability across leadership and teams
Requirements
- Master’s degree in human resources or related field
- 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience in life science
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Experience in leading change and development initiatives.
- Familiarity with HR analytics and modern HRIS platforms
- Strategic mindset with a collaborative and empathetic approach
- Fluency in German and English; French is an asset
- Collaborative team spirit, integrity, resilience, and a global mindset
- Demonstrated flexibility in responding to changing priorities or dealing with unexpected events
- Capability in handling multiple priorities and balance work to achieve business goal
