42 Wolfsburg is a disruptive higher education NGO/nonprofit educating 600 students to become cutting-edge tech professionals free of charge in a practice- and project-based peer learning environment. 42 Wolfsburg is based on the internationally renowned concept of Ecole 42 founded in Paris in 2013 and now trains 10'000 students at more than 40 schools around the globe. At 42 Wolfsburg, we set out to educate future software engineers to build the digital infrastructure of our society.

As the Tech Lead at 42 Wolfsburg, you will be in charge of all technological aspects at 42 Wolfsburg. You will lead the tech and IT team and help its members to prioritize and systemize their efforts. Moreover, you will implement the 42 pedagogy by providing the technical infrastructure for their specialization projects. You will also contribute to our specializations and steer the strategic direction of our FabLab.

• Strong identification with the mission of 42
• Experience with managing IT processes and managing IT support
• Programming languages, e.g. Python, Shell script, C/C++, Ruby
• Experience with embedded systems
• Typical system administration tools (Ansible, LDAP, vShpere, vCenter,...)
• Knowledge of how to manage WAN/LAN networks and Cisco equipment
• Familiarity with the infrastructure and tools in the 42 Network
• Extensive experience in one of the following areas: Software engineering, mobility/automotive, AI/ML, embedded systems, cybersecurity
