42 Berlin is a disruptive higher education NGO training up to 600 students to become cutting-edge software engineers in a practice-based gamified peer-learning environment.

Our model is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42 which was founded in 2013 in Paris and now trains more than 18.000 students in 50+ schools across the globe.

At 42 Berlin we set out to educate the next generation of German software engineers to build a digital future together.

Tasks

As a Marketing Manager, you’ll work with the Marketing team to attract talented and committed students to our coding academy:

In this role you will

  • Contribute to and implement our student acquisition strategy
  • Communicate with candidates
  • Keep the funnel engaged
  • Organise and host events
  • Have opportunities to ideate and launch your own ideas and projects
  • Own social media strategy and execution
  • Drive creative and content strategy
  • Support the marketing team in their overall efforts to grow our talented and diverse tech community
  • Support with B2B related tasks, attend conferences and speak at various events
  • Support with Introduction presentations and Open Day talks

Work conditions are flexible but we would like you to spend at least 10h/week onsite

Requirements

Essential:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a Marketing Team
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership
  • An interest in coding/tech and changing the industry for the better
  • Alignment with our values (inclusive and open minded)
  • Good understanding of how Email Marketing and Social Media Marketing works
  • Experience working with data and marketing data analytics
  • Good understanding of datasheets and basic data processing
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English
  • Right to live and work in Germany

Beneficial:

  • Fluent written and verbal communication in German
  • Understanding of marketing metrics and KPIs
  • Understanding of how marketing tracking works
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools like Tableau, Google Analytics, Looker or similar.
